The Cashflow Manager range of products are designed and published by Cashflow Manager Pty Ltd, ABN 56 008 131 137, an Australian company incorporated in 1987.
Founder and CEO Wayne Burgan who is a Fellow of CPA Australia and serves on their Small Business Centre of Excellence, originally designed the products for the clients of his accountancy practice.
A recent article in the Sunday Telegraph (a Sydney newspaper) said this:
“Accountants claim eight out of every 10 small businesses are making horrendous mistakes using the more complex double-entry bookkeeping software now on the market.
Unless you have a working knowledge of double entry accounting .... you’re likely to make a thorough mess of complex software systems such as Quickbooks, MYOB and the others.”
That is what Cashflow Manager is all about… making excellent records a reality for business owners who have not been trained in accounting.
Wayne Burgan says:
“While the products referred to in that newspaper article are excellent programs, it is important that business owners use a program that meets their business needs AND is not beyond their accounting capability. In most cases, the answer is a bookkeeping program such as Cashflow Manager, rather than a complex double entry accounting program”
That is why Cashflow Manager products are not generally available in retail outlets. Rather they are sold through accountants and business advisers such as banks and business associations that have a focus on providing the best solution for their clients.
